Health Literacy

Most health materials are written at a level higher (10th-11th grade) than low literacy adults can understand and converse.  This program provides health literacy instructional materials for students at appropriate reading levels for them.  It also provides instructional materials  to incorporate health literacy information and development of communication skills in a healthcare environment  in the ESL programs.
